Our light-filled rooms and shaded outdoor play-spaces create a perfect environment for little ones to explore, learn and make new friends. All rooms are well resourced, using imported furniture and resources to create welcoming spaces that stimulate curiosity and inquiry. 

Outstanding staff

The qualifications, experience and personality of staff are critical to creating a quality nursery. At Acorn Nurseries we are very careful in selecting only the best staff, employing qualified class teachers supported by experienced teaching assistants. All staff undergo an induction programme and are regularly updated with professional development training.

Properly implemented EYFS curriculum

All our nurseries follow the Early Years Foundation Stage of the curriculum for England – the EYFS. This is a common claim, but in practice the term is widely misunderstood and often poorly implemented.
